Jimmy Barnes

Jimmy Barnes is the heart and the soul of Australian rock & roll. His nickname, “Barnesy”, conjures up thoughts of rock music at an ear-splitting volume, and of soul standards given a unique reading. Jimmy has been through it all, and literally lived to tell the tales. He has sold more records in Australia than any other local rock & roll artist. He has enjoyed fifteen #1 albums here – more than the Beatles - and for over 40 years he has delivered some of our most intense and iconic live performances. He is truly in a league of his own.

In 2016, Jimmy’s self-penned childhood memoir, Working Class Boy, was a #1 bestseller and won the Australian Book Industry Award (ABIA) for ‘Biography of the Year’. His 2017 sequel, Working Class Man, also topped the charts and won the ABIA Award making him the first person to ever win “Biography Of The Year” twice.

Daryl Braithwaite

Right now Daryl Braithwaite is showing no signs of slowing down. Daft Punk recently sampled The Sherbs' ‘We Ride Tonight’. In 2017 Daryl has entered the ARIA Hall of Fame as a solo artist.

Always a fine interpreter, here Daryl has recorded James Reyne’s ‘Motor’s Too Fast’, Peter Gabriel’s ‘In Your Eyes’, Chicago’s ‘If You Leave Me Now’, while reworking ‘When We Were Kings’ which featured in the 1996 documentary of the same name.

“I guess, overall, I'm happy I took up singing,” says Daryl with his customary modesty. “I really am. And, without labouring the point, I think that I've been very fortunate to have had a lot of help from different people as well. It seems to have come together. Why it's lasted this long, I think it's because I love it. I love doing it, and I love audiences.”

Ian Moss

Respected as one of Australia’s iconic musicians, Ian Moss delivers an unforgettable sound – not only as a telling soloist on guitar but especially with his silken voice, ringing with clarity and resonating with pure soul. While primarily recognised as an axeman of tenacity and sweet melodic sensibility, Ian’s distinctive vocal is the essential signature of his soulful, bluesy muse – as it has been since his first tentative foray into music during the early 1970s.

Born and raised in Alice Springs, Ian started playing guitar in local teenage bands but moved to Adelaide after failing one of his high school years, planning to repeat in the big city. Fate intervened when he answered an advertisement for a guitarist in a shop window in 1973, joining the band that was to become a legend in Australia and that made such an undeniable impact that they are now etched in the Australian music psyche forever. That band was Cold Chisel.

Moss has released five incredible and dynamic studio albums – The #1 and multi-platinum, Matchbook, Worlds Away, Petrolhead, Let's all Get Together and Soul on West 53rd.

Richard Clapton

Richard Clapton is one of Australia’s foremost singer/songwriters and paved the way for three generations of songwriters to write about the experience of being Australian.

When Richard Clapton began his recording career in 1974, Australia was still in the vice-like grip of the cultural cringe. He plunged into the “deep water” and legends like Skyhooks and Paul Kelly, Cold Chisel, INXS, Midnight Oil, and hundreds of others, followed in his wake.

Clapton’s songs are still omnipresent on the radio to this day, his records charting the political landscape of the nation and the turbulent lives of two generations.

Ross Wilson

From Daddy Cool to Mondo Rock and as a solo artist with no less than 26 ARIA Top 40 hits to his credit as a singer, songwriter and producer, Ross Wilson is one of Australia’s most awarded, respected and well-known artists.  From the legendary band Daddy Cool, whose No. 1 anthem Eagle Rock and debut album "Daddy Who?" smashed all previous sales records in Australia, to the 1977 formation of Mondo Rock, delivering 80’s hits Cool World, State of The Heart, Chemistry, No Time, and Come Said The Boy and into the 21st century as a solo performer, Wilson has never been out of the limelight.  Twice inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame, Wilson’s live performances are legendary.
