Icehouse

With a career spanning nearly 40 years, ICEHOUSE is one of Australia’s most iconic bands, transcending age groups with their hit songs, well known and loved by audiences across generations. ICEHOUSE has played to sell-out capacity audiences in Australia, New Zealand and throughout the World. 

ICEHOUSE was formed by Iva Davies, the band’s frontman and musical creative force, who lead the band to an amazing 28 Platinum albums, eight Top 10 albums and over thirty Top 40 singles. 

ICEHOUSE started as a pub rock band called FLOWERS, who scored a record deal with Regular Records and released their first singles, Can’t Help Myself and We Can Get Together. The band’s debut album, ICEHOUSE, was released in the same year to critical acclaim and reached multi platinum status in Australia and New Zealand where they toured for the first time. ICEHOUSE soon became the highest selling debut album by any band in Australia, a record it was to hold well into the 1990s. The iconic cover art for the album, featuring branches intertwined, was created by drummer, John Lloyd, a former art student. After performing their song ICEHOUSE at the Countdown Awards, the band was awarded with the Johnny O’Keefe Award for Best New Talent of 1980.

Pete Murray

Pete Murray is one of Australia’s most-loved and respected singer songwriters. He has sold out countless national tours and written 5 hit records that have amassed more 1 million album sales to date.  The talented musician has also achieved plenty of multi platinum singles with hit singles like 'So Beautiful’, ‘Opportunity’ and crowd favourites ‘Connected’ and ‘Always a Winner’. Murray released his most recent album, ‘Camacho’, in mid 2017 to popular acclaim and is currently working on new music to share with his adoring fan base.

YOU AM I

You Am I are without doubt one of Australia’s all-time essential rock n’ roll bands.

More than two decades on from their first album release, You Am I have not only had one of the longest and most successful recording careers in Australia, but are also without doubt one of our most loved live bands.

Featuring guitarist and vocalist Tim Rogers along with band mates Russell Hopkinson on drums, Andy Kent on Bass, and (since 1999) Davey Lane on guitar, You Am I have released Ten studio albums to date.

Their last studio album was the 2015 critically acclaimed “Porridge & Hot Sauce” release. Three of their releases have debuted at number one on the ARIA charts in consecutive order – 1995’s “Hi Fi Way”, 1996’s “Hourly, Daily” and 1998’s “#4 Record” – with the Albums also receiving multiple Platinum and Gold status for commercial sales.

The band have won a total of Ten ARIA Awards including Album of the year, Best Group, and Best Independent Release.

Tex Perkins

Tex Perkins has played a key role in Australian music & it’s understandably difficult to pull together a coherent picture of a man whose career has taken in everything from the groundbreaking experimental punktonica of Sydney mid-80s noiseniks Thug to the lilting, dark country of his recent material with the Dark Horses. From the hard edged pub rock of the Beasts Of Bourbon’s, a snarling slice of filthy pub rock to the evocative soundscapes of The Cruel Sea, whose extraordinary 1991 single ‘This Is Not The Way Home’ placed Perkins’ world-weary growl in a new musical context and heralded the emergence of an entirely original yet archetypically Australian sound.

Let’s talk about the Tex, Don & Charlie albums, which saw Perkins joining forces with the legendary Don Walker, Cold Chisel’s pianist and master songwriter, and Charlie Owen, previously Australia’s best kept musical secret. Or the TNT project, where he and contemporary Tim Rogers celebrated their long-term friendship with a little tongue-in-cheek.  And then there are the five Tex Perkins solo albums, which the Dark Horses congealed around him. More recently he has been travelling the country in the hit Theatre Production The Man In Black, staring as Johnny Cash.

Killing Heidi

It’s been twenty years since Hooper Siblings Killing Heidi released their disarming folk pop song, ‘Kettle’ on triple j unearthed. The band soon expanded into colourful teenage power pop and burst onto the national and international stage with their breakthrough debut album Reflector, released in March 2000.

Anthemic singles ‘Mascara’ and ‘Weir’ made Reflector a blow-out success and cemented the work as one of Australia’s most loved pop albums. The early naughties belonged to Killing Heidi with Weir placing #2 and Mascara #14 in triple j’s Hottest 100. Reflector went onto to take out four ARIA awards and reach 4 x platinum status.

The Hooper siblings also won the critically-acclaimed APRA songwriters of the year award. A seminal part of the Aus indie music story. Reflector has now been released digitally
